Community Engagement

The vision is to develop a wildlife destination keeping in mind the fine balance between economic viability and ecological sustainability. With a strong focus on community involvement and community incentive, we regard the local community as a natural stakeholder in both decision-making as well as operations.
We refer to this as the quadruple bottom-line approach:
– Protect the biodiversity and enhance it
– Involve the local people and benefit them
– Inject capital into local economy and profit from it
– Respect the spirit of the place through sensitive planning

The cornerstone of this philosophy is the belief that any paradigm shift in the conservation mechanism is not possible without the involvement of the community.
